I wasn't sure about that, because translating comic character names was normal back when Calvin & Hobbes debuted in Denmark. Calvin & Hobbes are named "Steen & Stoffer" and I still mostly think of them as such, since that's what I knew them as for the first many years.

I've got a lot of comics from back when I was a kid. Mostly, they're absolutely terrible and I've buried them deep in a cupboard somewhere.
