I used to work in the "tobacco business." A few of those cheap lighter packs would come in busted in the case occasionally. The manufacturer wouldn't do a credit system for them, and repackaging them wasn't really worth the time to the accountant, so we'd damage them out, and then he'd tell me to go throw them out, I asked him if I could just have them instead and he was fine with that.
