Agreed. Get management to pay them a living wage so I can stop having to tip. Yes, I know it means an increase in food prices, but I'm fine with that. I'm against the idea of tipping. Why one service industry deserves it and another doesn't is beyond me.



So, I had to chaperon my 14 year old niece as she did her Black Friday shopping tonight. Walmart was crazy, as expected. Then we had to hit up the mall.

Then she spent over an hour in Victoria's Secret. Yeah, me in Victoria's Secret, following around a 14 year old girl. I felt like Chris Hanson was gonna pop out with a camera crew and tell me to have a seat.

Then we had to stand in line for over half an hour to check out. As we get near the checkout, this black dude weaves his way into the line and butts in front of everyone. Then he invites his friends to join him. Of course, no says sh!t to the dude.

So I get in his face and say "You haven't been standing in line for half an hour like I have have. You might be able to butt in front of these other people, but you're not gonna butt in front of me."

So he gets all pissy and says "Do you work here?! Stop talking to me. Mind your business."

I step in front of him and take back my place in line. Then he and his friends start talking sh!t about me, like I'm not 12 inches away and can't hear them . . .

I hear them start making threats, saying they're gonna kick my ass and jump me and all of that sh!t. So, I turn around and confront him again. I ask him "What the f*ck did you just say?!" He goes back to the "Turn around. Don't talk to me. You don't work here." routine.

I let him know that I heard him threaten me. He says "I guarantee you can't handle me." He has one of his hands all wrapped up in a bandage. I told him that unless he wants to lose the other hand, he'd better check himself. He then goes to the old "Catch me outside." I told him "Outside? I'll catch you right here, bitch."

Then, it was our turn to check out. Dude's lucky my niece was with me. He has no idea how wrong that situation was about to go for him.
