Almost immediately, I went to check where the band was from, because this didn't sound like any sort of authentic folk music to me. Sure enough, they're a bunch of whitebread Americans from Pittsburg or something. Not that that's the problem. The problem is that I find their music weak and uninteresting and that the dude on the microphone is insufferable. I know this, because I checked out several tracks on Youtube right away, just to see if the band really sucks that bad. Sadly it does.

Then again, I might be far too picky with this sort of thing.

Thought I was gonna like this one more. The guitar and vocal melodies didn't really grab me. At least not on the first run through. Still very curious about that new album she put out though, since it supposedly has more of a modern pop thing going on, musically. I can't easily imagine what that might sound like.
