His current avatar is a photo of Tenzin Gyatso (the fourteenth Dalai Lama), indicatory of a likely interest in Tibetan Buddhism. Meditation plays a significant role in Tibetan Buddhist rituals, and as far as I know, two of the predominant objectives of meditation are to achieve enlightenment and tranquility.

I'm sure he meant, well...exactly what he said. Peace of mind materializes entirely within yourself, and nobody can haul you out of that cerebral utopia unless you allow them to do so.
