I'm not gonna disagree that Maleficent was absolutely mediocre, and that's still giving it a tad too much credit, but I just enjoyed the silly but likable performance of Angelina Jolie to an extent that let me ignore all the garbage going on in the rest of the movie. I mean that battle scene at the beginning was painful.
And is it just me or was there a weird lesbian cougar thing going on? Didn't hurt my appreciation of the movie to be perfectly honest.
