I could take it or leave it tbh but I do think it's a successful deterrent in most cases. At the end of the day, this is a dying medium and the owners treat it as such. If we were going to bother them about something, I'd choose changing the colour scheme, the top graphic, allowing people with a high number of posts to make journal entries without needing approval, or adding upvote capabilities instead. Spam that's going to be deleted by people thinking we haven't seen someone surpass the filter before just doesn't seem to be that pressing of an issue except in the cases where there's a few hours in between a mod being logged on. Plus in a way it makes it easier to spot spam when people do try to do the quick 15 since it's usually pretty obvious.
