It didn't matter what type of music or if it was all similar, just that people were actually uploading and sending me the submissions. I got about 10 each week that were just a PM saying "yo add this song" with nothing else.

Honestly if would probably be better just to pick a premade compilation from youtube or spotify and talk about that since so many exist.
