Well, to justify myself I must say I didn't used the word "favourite" in the previous statement as equal to "best" in terms of quality. But
Unconditionally Guranteed is definintely the album of his I've played the most in recent years. I guess the reason for this is that it's one of his most accesible and therefore I've put it on whenever I have friends or family over, and yeah I guess I couldn't help myself but to like it more and more. I certainly like
Trout Mask Replica and the likes aswell, but the mood of mind that it requires does not appear as often.
The same goes with Bob Dylan (and here's one to really frown on: ). One of my "favourites" of his is his '73 album
