Went a bit nuts with some cheap CD purchases recently:
Cæcilie Norby (Danish pop & jazz singer)
So far, I'm digging her music. She's fairly eclectic in style and has a really nice and dynamic voice. Every one of the above albums have some songs that are pretty surprising when you've heard a lot of really boring vocal jazz albums (and I have).

Didn't actually bother checking out St. Vincent's music until she put out her most recent album (which is not the one I got). I'm not 100% on board, but it's hard to not at least be a little impressed with the tight songwriting and her distinct guitar playing style.
Never heard about this band before, but checking out the booklet and the back cover gave me good vibes somehow. I took a chance and it turned out to be a pretty cool blues rock/hard rock album. This song is just immortal:
Working for the Enemy

Darkness falls is an indie pop duo produced by Trentemøller. Not sure he's much of a name internationally, but he is here. Just took a chance and it's got some nice vibes. Need to check it out more though. So far, it's got some sleek, atmospheric, dark indie pop stylings going on.
