1. As we are now into September, how was the summer for you? (Answer winter if it was winter where you are.)
I worked most of it away. Weather-wise it was pretty even keel. Not too bad there.
2. When was the last time you were genuinely scared?
Great Recession.
3. What was the last book you read? Was it any good?
Digital Gold: Bitcoin and the Inside Story of the Misfits and Millionaires Trying to Reinvent Money (2015) by Nathaniel Popper. I wanted to understand this crypto crap because it was in the headlines constantly, so much so that it was getting annoying. Knew zero about it and didn't really care to use it, either, but if cryptos were going to become a permanent force, it's something I wanted to understand. I wanted to know the history of it more than anything/who the major players were, similar to how you would read a book about a war you were never in or about a city you've never visited. This was Popper's first book. I am a fan of dry reading or what you would call nonfiction, so I wasn't expecting a griping story. Just wish it had a little more life to it. The book is fairly dull, matter-of-fact and the characters' personalities could've been fleshed out and their storylines tied together better.
4. What was the last 5* album you discovered?
I'm bad at listening to albums so it's hard to say. I'm just going to pimp one of my favorite albums, Above by Mad Season.
5. What one thing do you do better than anyone else you know?
Point-and-shoot photography maybe.
6. What would be the hardest thing for you to give up?
Ice cream.
