1. As we are now into September, how was the summer for you? (Answer winter if it was winter where you are.)
It was okay. Let a couple of friendships slip away and the heat was a bitch but I see it as a stepping stone to a better place tbh.
2. When was the last time you were genuinely scared?
I was waiting to get picked up at the train station last weekend and there was this tweaker muttering to himself when he started attacking the next tree over from the one I was leaning on with a pocket knife. Casually made a little distance and got a grip on my own pocket knife just in case, then he walked over to me. I was like **** am I gonna have to ward off a stabbing right now? He just asked if I could hear an alarm when he pressed the button on some keys he found though. That could've been nasty and I was ready for that.
3. What was the last book you read? Was it any good?
It's honestly been a while and I'm trying to change that. I'm currently about halfway through Heller's Picture This and I'm loving it.
4. What was the last 5* album you discovered?
Discovered as in found myself? Now that one's hard. Probably the new Keiji Haino/Konstrukt collab but if artists I'm already familiar with and have been anticipating a new release from count then it's Armand Hammer's Paraffin.
5. What one thing do you do better than anyone else you know?
Play guitar. I really mean that unironically, folks. Writing/editing as well when I put my mind to it.
6. What would be the hardest thing for you to give up?
Art
