Eh, it's the worst song on
Disturbed, but it's tolerable. I consider "Droppin' Plates" to be a filler pick, and while it may be cringe-inducing on a lot of levels, at least it's not boring. It's best enjoyed when listening to the album in its entirety, and in that sense it belongs for what was then a previously-unknown band before its release. Dropping it as a single is when it starts to feel out of place for what it is.
Best song they've ever done? Nope. Better than some of their mediocre songs on subsequent albums? Probably so. For a debut album, I'm fine with it being on there. Plus, I have strong nostalgia memories tied to their debut, so I have no intention of being unbiased about it
