I'm in tears. I devoured everything from the guy. Been a fan for over 20 years. No matter where in the world he sat down for a meal he'd make the people feel comfortable and really empathize with them. If you've never read Kitchen Confidential, do yourself a favor and check it out. So damn funny and extremely insightful. One of the few books I've read numerous times.

There's people all over the planet really bummed out about this. Not sure anyone has ever bonded with so many diverse folks as Bourdain. Hawk, he was not just a ****ing tourist. He immersed himself in the culture, cuisine, and people no matter where he was.
