The good guys are more relatable, the bad guy is less of a cipher than Mads Mikkelsen's completely forgettable "dude with silly facepaint" villain.
Much less contrived plot and even jokes that landed more than not.
I wouldn't say it's a 10/10 or anything, but it's one of the best Marvel movies to date for sure.
I borrowed 3 super hero movies from my sister this weekend, so I've got one left to watch. Justice League is next... kinda trying to expect as little as possible.

I haven't gone to the movies in months so I'm embarrassed that I forgot Justice League even came out. Ant-Man didn't leave that big an impression on me though. I didn't even finish it tbh. It wasn't bad, I just was too lazy to start it back up again. Paul Rudd is always super likeable but the movie felt like a Paul Rudd vehicle with a superhero connection.
