The vocal harmonies are the best thing about the band, but I'm not so sure about the songs as a whole. I'm not done listening to Dirt yet, but so far, my impression is that it's rather one dimensional and I'm not that into most of the riffs. I feel like this might be a band (or at least album) that I need to take in small doses.

The opening riff to "Them Bones" is a nostalgia trip for me, since it was featured in this promo clip that used to play on all my old anime VHS tapes from Manga Entertainment.

EDIT: Actually, I'm misremembering. That was Celtic Frost - The Heart Beneath. Only slightly similar, but not really at all when you get down to it. Then I'm not even sure where it is I'm remembering this AIC song from...
