because i'm a sad pathetic loser and i consider MB to be my alternate family? i've shared pretty much everything of any importance that happened to me in the time i've been here, this was by far the biggest thing i had to go through, i couldn't keep it to myself.....and i was well proud of myself.

i've avoided making any refferences to my being gay on this forum ( aside from the gay jokes i'm prone to make ) simply because it's grown on me and i ( i tried explaining this to other people ), i didn't want you to make any assumptions about my character before you got to know me better....perhapse it's a stupid way to think, but i don't have much experience in dealing with this matter.

no, i've not told my parents and that's not likely to happen any time soon, my mother is a devout catholic and it would crush her, my father and brother are belligerant homophobics, no good could come of telling them, and there's no hope they would understand or be even remotely sympathetic.
my other two sisters ( yes, i have a rather large family ) i might tell some day, but to tell you the truth, my youngest sister is the only one i could safely assume would not completely freak out on hearing the news and the only one i can trust not to use this information against me ( i love all my sisters, but the two older ones can be vindictive bitches ).

i'm closest with my youngest sister, i've often said on this site that she's like my twin, she's only a year older and she's my best friend. the other ones, i don't get along with so well....and their views on homosexuality ( especially oldest sister's and brother's) are discouraging to say the least....we've all been brought up in the same conservative, catholic narrow minded comunity. i was born this way and was forced to deal with my prejudices, they were not. perhapse telling them one day will also force them to re-evaluate their views....
