I only heard one album by this band, and it was pretty soon after enjoying Blue Sky Riders' debut, so I had hoped that would be something similar, but I was very disappointed with it. The first track is not bad, but it soon slips into the mediocrity I experienced on
747 as I had expec – oh. Wait. That's not true. There are the odd duff songs, yes, but in general this is turning out to be a lot better than I had anticipated. Songs like “Hurt”, “This City”, “The Stars”, “Teenage Heart” are all really very impressive, and the few lower-quality ones are definitely outnumbered here. More like what I had hoped to hear when I checked out
747. A whole lot better.
