That's a good point. I am a folk rock fan and I do find that Zep is somewhat more eclectic than your typical metal band. Zeppelin experimented with sounds outside of their blues-rock origins, in particular with folk and reggae. Something like Misty Mountain Hop, for example, even has a little bit of a garage rock vibe.
So, yeah, Zeppelin probably does a little more for me than Sabbath might.
