At least it's only an EP, so five tracks is all I have to suffer. First one is not bad, to be fair; a long way removed from the bland uptempo poppy nonsense they're known for. Second one (also the title) is good too, but “One More Night” returns to their boyband roots, ie it's ****, and from there it's basically a nosedive back to the band we all know and hate. Oh look! They even rob the bass line from “99 Red Balloons” for “Still Sounds Good”. Yeah. Right. **** off, guys: you're no longer kids and there are newer ones on your block now. I mean, Donnie Wahlberg is on
Blue Bloods, as a
grizzled middle-aged cop, for the love of god! You can't be kids forever. Grow up, guys, and retire with whatever shreds of dignity you still possess, if it's not too late. It
is too late. Well, do us all a favour and retire anyway, then we'll
all be thankful.
