July 2014: I was making $52.88 an hour, was married, had two dogs and a cat, hadn't had any mental or physical health issues in ages, and was living in an 1,800 square foot, two story townhouse.
March 2018: I'll be making $12.50 an hour, will be divorced, no animals, have had one health issue after the other, and will be living in a 175 square foot van..... down by the river.
So why am I so chill about it all? I'm also happy, relieved, and even very excited about what's around the corner.
I feel like a walking cliche about mid-life changes.
