The problem with trying to remember something you heard when you were a kid is, your memory from that far back often isn't really that great. Can't tell you how many times I heard some song that I hadn't heard since I was a kid, but when I heard it again, it was different from what I remembered.

For me it was always better. I guess all I would end up remembering were the lyrics. So when I heard the song again it was always a surprise to hear the instrumentation.
