so what exactly has rap done to hurt our society? portray violence in a glorifying manner? shown women in a degrading and objectifying fashion?
look at any aspect of the media, they ALL do it. don't single rap out. Rap is only doing the exact same thing that every other portion of popular media does. And you know what, they do it because it sells. Because our society was functioning this way LONG before rap existed.
