I'm definitely down for self-soothing content. I recently invested in a ridiculously shaggy fur blanket for just that purpose, so I've got the burrito part down.
The fact that the lot of you put so much stock into the series makes me just a little curious. I haven't witnessed this degree of loyalty since the RHPS scene. Maybe I'll give it a shot on an evening when I'm feeling particularly adventurous. Thank you all.

QI was among the best, if not the best of them. Unfortunately now that Stephen Fry left it.. well, it's not the same. Sandi Toksvig is charismatic but well, she's no Stephen Fry I'm afraid.

Absolutely! It's preceisely their masterful juggling of Oxford academia and fart jokes that makes it such a gem. The panel's reaction to Fry casually recalling an incident with his tailor as a schoolboy... the "Acropolis" verbal fumble... and the ever-exasperated and incompetent Alan Davies consistently keep me laughing to tears.

Would I Lie to You is my second favorite panel show. David Mitchell's rants are legendary. I still go back and watch the "Once I accidentally bought a horse" bit again and again. (
Seriously watch this segment up if you haven't seen it yet.)

Thank you to both Yac and Ziggy for mentioning Mock of the Week. I'll definitely check it out!
