I guess I've managed to avoid K-pop for a while now, but it's back, and again it's an EP. At least it's a girl group, which I find in general to be better than the boy ones, though the first two tracks meld together as generic pop/dance numbers. The third has some interesting sparse guitar work and a more restrained vibe – wouldn't call it necessarily a ballad, but it's not as bright, cheerful and brainless as the other two. Next one is a ballad, and it's pretty nice too. Lovely ripply piano, and the next one is also a ballad but more a power ballad. Good stuff, to be fair: one of the better girl K-pop albums I've heard, has a lot going for it.
