Ride the Lightning:
Allright, a more bluesy vibe. She shows some vocal versatility here. Yeah, this is not bad. I could get into this, but I will need to return to both songs a few times to see if it grows on me. Both tracks are quite promising. Good one, DWV.

She's very much a bluesy artist. I'd listen to other tracks instead of revisiting these songs.. Her cover album Mockingbird is fantastic and her newest album Babble has a nice mix of lyric content and sounds. Don't worry she's not pop with a couple offbeat tracks that I gave you examples of.
