I heard of these guys years and years and years ago, but I don't think I actually heard their music. The opening instrumental is really nice, very pleasant, while some of the vocal pieces put me in mind of eighties Alan Parsons Project to a degree. I don't know why, but I expected sort of twenties music here; just the impression I had had of this band.
Overall it's put together well, with seven short pieces (ranging from just over one minute to just over two in length) kind of coming together almost as one interlinked piece of music, then a long track on its own which, for its over eleven-minute length, goes by very quickly.
A really good album, very enjoyable, and would certainly induce me to listen to more of their material. 8/10
