Well in fairness I can't say that for sure, having read precisely, so far, three of his books, but I did read his biography and he seemed to be very tuned in to the worldview of children.

Oh believe me, every single Christmas this is read for Karen, but we have to ensure it runs right up to Christmas Eve, so I have to time it properly. I think it normally takes about five days, given that I have approximately an hour or less a day to read to her. It's certainly a tradition here though. As is Kermit in
