Linda's Uncle Bob (from back east) was in town for his annual Susan Komen Cancer Walk in honor of Lin's sister who passed 20+ years ago after a 7 year battle.
Went to dinner tonight to celebrate his 74th birthday. Me, Linda, Sherri, Scott, and Scott's mom, along with Bob.
5 minutes after we're seated Bob's daughter, SIL, and granddaughter walk in. They'd just flown in from back east - Philadelphia.
Everyone knew except him. Linda and his daughter had cooked it up for weeks.
74 year old dude was so freaking happy he cried. AWESOME DAY.
The Chicken Piccata was great too.
