well, since neither Muslim or Islam are races, it's not racist.
bigoted, maybe. but the word "racist" simply doesn't apply as that implies that Muslim/Islam are races.
that line of thinking could also be used to counter people who oppose, say.........Christianity (since it too is not a race, but an ideology).
