Batty said to ignore the “death” part in MDM and if it weren't for the vocals here, yeah, I could. Second track is far superior to the first, some really good guitar work on it. Metalcore though: will it ever be for me? To be honest, when yer man shuts the **** up howling you can hear how good the music is. Trouble is, he doesn't stay quiet for long. **** him. Look at “None of This is the Truth” - some superb musicianship here, but most of the time it's lost behind his ravings and howls. See, for “Widowed” he ****s off and leaves the band to rack out a fine instrumental, and it's so much the better for his absence, but of course he's back for “Enter Oblivion”, and normal service is, sadly, resumed. Could have been so much better.
