In Ireland and the UK at least, our broadcasters offer both catch-up services (programmes are available from the last week or so that you can watch; not all, but some), on-demand services where you can download the entire series, and some have a "restart" feature, where if you missed the start of a show you can hit a button and it will go back to the beginning for you. I don't know if you have these over that side of the world, but here it's pretty sweet. Download the whole boxset, watch it in order one episode after another/one season after another. Oh, and it's free: well, included in your main TV subscription.
