I still think his comedy is hysterical, but in context some of it is a little off putting now. I almost wonder if people laughing at his subject matter affected his psyche to come to think that it's alright. Or maybe the culture he found himself in has that already and he was just mimicking it. Or maybe none of these people actually exist.
