****. I thought the West Memphis Three was bad in regard to multiple authorities teaming up to frame a person(s) for murder.

Making a Murderer is 10X worse.

This is not really a spoiler but I'll hide it anyway. Spoiler** for Basic Story: Dude gets framed for a rape/attack and spends 18 years behind bars before being cleared by DNA. Cops had the real perp on the radar the whole time but swept him under the rug - he went on the rape more women while the innocent guy sat behind bars. A couple years after being freed the guy sues the police dept. and town for $32 million. Based on the gross negligence of the cops, prosecution, and judge, it's an open and shut case - until the dude is arrested and charged with the murder of a local woman.
