A single root canal will cost $2000. You go in for the check up and cleaning. They start with a mandatory x-ray thing that's $100 not covered. Then they need a follow up to ($300) look at some ****. Then the dentist says he can't do it but his oral surgeon buddy can. Another $300 just for him to tell you it's $900 for the root canal. Plus, you probably got a couple fillings along the way and if you need a crown goodbye to another $1000.
