Yeah. We dodged a bullet. Others weren't so lucky. It didn't clip us though: it went right up through the country, probably like a Big Mac and fries goes through you. Yes, I know you work for Burger King.
Seriously though: it was ****ing scary - watching trees bend and wave, hoping they weren't going to come down, trying to calculate where they'd hit if they did, waiting every moment for the power to fail, making contingency plans in my head as to what we'd do if it did. What a ****ing day!
