They're intentionally cheesy, subtly subversive, and self-aware and always have been . I suspect that the repressive, communist political situation in Slovenia (their country of origin) in the 80s caused their more subtle, tongue-in-cheek approach to political commentary. That song's lyrics mean nothing, being a cover of what I also assume was an unintentionally, humorously meaningless reggae song that illustrates the stupidity of their country's then-current ideology, along with the over-the-top Nazi-ish sounding music. I might be totally wrong but that's what I get from "Opus Dei/Life Is Life".
