I can understand lumping Dream Theater with Opeth, Queensryche, Symphony X or Fates Warning (even though they all do have their
own styles)
but lumping Devin Townsend with Dream Theater is just lazy and inexperienced;
it's like saying that Tool and The Doobie Brothers are the same thing
But I don't care what music you love or hate, though this thread has been very interesting to see unfold (considering I share a love of a lot of extreme avant garde noise music with many of you here)
