I'm still a Swans fan even though Michael Gira is a sexual predator. Thing is, I love the band so goddamn much but Michael was never the driving force for me. I don't listen to his solo stuff much. It's that combination of the rest of the band that does it for me. I'm seeing them in November and am going to try to talk to Kristof Hahn, Chris Pravdica, or Phil Puleo because to me they're the main reason I love the band so much, at least this incarnation of the band. Also, I'm friends with a relative of Phil Puleo so there's a talking point already.
