Series!) in a space of 2-minutes: "So they got a divorce and then your mom died, can I bang your aunt?"
On top of that, Robin was an atrocious character who acted selfishly and without regard for anyone but herself the entire series long, and instead of repairing the viewer's relationship with her, they just told the viewer to accept it: Robin was terrible to Ted for 7 of the show's 10 years, but because HE loves her we're supposed to be happy for them both! No, she was a ****ty ****ing character and in the end we're supposed to feel sorry for her for ruining her own life? We're supposed to be rooting for her despite her being a huge bitch every step of the way?
I could also go on like this for Dexter, Heroes, Snowpiercer, Orange is the New Black, Hector and the Search for Happiness, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Hannibal, and literally anything that depicts a psychologist in it.
TV. Its serious business.

I only ever occasionally watched HIMYM, but Ted/Robin was Ross/Rachel 2.0 but lame. Barney/Robin made far more sense.
And dear god on Heroes. The first season did a great job at ripping off Watchmen, but then... Jesus. I don't know what makes me angrier, turning into Sylar into a fanfiction plot or throwing away Kristen Bell's awesome character on a show that no longer deserved her.
