What is the worst gift you have ever received, and also what is the worst gift you have ever given?

I was given a tamagotchi by somebody for my birthday once. Problem is I already had the same one from a gift earlier in the day. Didn't have the heart to tell him.

Worst I have given if that same tamagotchi to somebody else, who already had one from earlier in the day. He did have the heart, and have it back to me.

I have no idea where it is now.
