That sounds like a lot of my issues with team comics in general: not enough time to focus on the actual characters so everything often feels flat and boring. Watchmen is not a good representation of team books in general, as it is masterfully written and not really about any team, whereas any given Justice League book is probably not going to be written by a genius like Alan Moore.
And I have no good reason for not finishing DD season 2. The Punisher arc was amazing and I'm totally into seeing how they handled Elektra. BTW if you're ever interested in more comics then I highly rec Elektra's solo mini-series from the 80s,
Elektra: Assassin. It's pretty ****ing cool, surreal, and bat**** insane. I actually went out of my way to collect all six vintage issues because it was too cool to not do so.
