^ That toilet roll looks ok to me the way it is. It's practical and easy to use; if the toilet roll was flipped so the trailing end hung near the wall it would look tidier, but would be slightly less accessible. Because there has to be a word for everything, the toilet roll in the picture is overshot, while the alternative arrangement would be specified as undershot. Who is to say which way is correct?
