I can respect that even though I disagree. Calling music with screaming screamo is just one of my pet peeves.

Depending on how much you like heavy music, you might get into it in the future. I used to not be into it either, but now I've swung in the other direction to where I'm usually not a fan of metal with melodic vocals.

Also, as a side note (not directly based on anything you said), I want to mention that all screamers are not created equal. I think people think of cliched brutal death metal vocals when they talk about screaming, but the variety in the music world is so much more dynamic than that.

I think this screamer is especially great.


And I think this guy SUCKS (even though the music is pretty brilliant)
