I guess 96 is a good enough age to go. No more adventures for the man and his dog then.
Those of us over this side of the water will remember him also from the tedious British classic comedy that ran for about 90 seasons, "Last of the Summer Wine", and from the ads for Polo mints, which I always enjoyed.
