ABBA, Frampton Comes Alive, Steve Miller's Fly Like an Eagle, Fleetwood Mac's Rumors, Billy Joel's The Stranger, Cheap Trick Live in Budakkon, The Eagles Hotel California just took over the airwaves of FM radio because the the stations were being paid to play them non-stop. Sames goes for a lot of the disco and new wave of the day.

Totally sucked. Back in Methuen, MA at that time if you listened to any of the rock FM stations it was guaranteed you'd hear songs from all of these artists within the hour.
