Growing apathy during the latter part of the Bush administration through the eight years of Obama (AKA Wall-Street's golden boy) administration is a major factor to why we have Trump today, and his ongoing failures are only going to build on that apathy in 2020. If the Dems won't step up with a serious candidate and a real plan of action, maybe the Libertarians will.
I remember reading not long ago that three electoral votes from 2016 actually went to Colin Powell as opposed to Clinton or Trump. Who would take him as POTUS in 2020 at this point?
