I guess I underestimated him and you were right as far as popularity goes Chula. I define iconic a little bit differently though and still don't think he fits. My list of iconic guitarists (not favourite) would probably be only about 10-20 guitarists long and he wouldn't get a spot.
I remember Evanescence being too lame even for teenage Marilyn Manson loving me. Don't really remember what they sound like and not really wanting to find out.
