She was once a very attractive woman who went way south. She used to show other students pictures of what she looked like in her 20s; we attributed her nasty demeanor to her decayed looks but in retrospect I think she was just lonely. I would say she was very set in her ways as an appreciator exclusively of renaissance and baroque paintings. Anything else was abhorrent, graphic art and art from Asia especially.
