Thanks for the recommendation of Skye Wallace, PS. That's a great song, and a stylish video too. She has interesting lyrics and a powerful voice, so I'll def be listening to it again, even though it suddenly cuts off

And just like old times, I'm posting something without English lyrics - my favourite track from this 1980 album. The whole album sounds like traditional folk, but actually the sisters wrote most of it themselves:-



( @ Mr.Charlie: I'm kind of ambivalent about The Pogues. They have all the ingredients that I should like and yet for some reason they don't quite do it for me, though I've never worked out why.)
